Thanks to its integration with the vehicle’s CAN bus, Protechta provides advanced protection against theft attempts by digitally locking both the engine and the automatic transmission.
Protechta’s effectiveness is based on a “CAN immobilizer”: a device capable of preventing the engine from starting, even by connecting to the OBD port, as is the case on all cars today, or by replacing the control unit.
Only the owner of the “digital key” can unlock it and, therefore, allow the car to start.
